Eileen Davidson attended Erika Girardi’s pool party (or carnival, or circus — whatever you want to call it) in sexier gear than normal on last night’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, thanks to a swimwear shopping trip with the hostess. And guess what? I don’t think showin’ a lil’ skin is a bad thing at all for Mrs. Davidson. I mean, you go shopping with the other ladies, you end up feeling like you need a more expensive handbag. You go shopping with Erika Girardi, and you come out looking and feeling like ______ Jayne (insert your name in the blank). I’d say I know who the more positive influence is.

If there’s one thing Big Blonde Hair readers want more of, it’s information directing them to where to buy Erika Girardi’s sunglasses. So I’m declaring today a small victory, because I actually found a pair of them. And as different as Erika may seem from your average Housewives cast member, the brand of these sunnies is a thing that probably ties just about every single ‘wife from every single franchise together. In fact, I think Andy Cohen must ask the women if they own a pair during casting, because it totally seems like a requirement. A requirement that Mrs. Girardi takes to the next level, but sporting what might be the biggest, baddest pair on earth.

I think Kyle Richards’ may have saved the best for first, not last, in the case of her Season 6 Real Housewives of Beverly Hills opening credits dress. And while it’s pretty enough with the contrast of black and tan trim against the white body of the dress, the crystal embellished sparkle that is super hard to see on TV makes it even better. But if she is actually saving the best for last, I simply cannot wait to see her RHOBH Season 6 Reunion dress, because based on this it’s going to be a stunner.

Maybe it’s because I’m pregnant and cranky, but I found the RHOBH post-Soul Cycle (PS, my instructor in Chicago is exactly like their dude with the headband, they must finding them and cloning them) lunch super annoying. I think maybe it was because I’m used to thinking Yolanda is above the drama, and now she’s not. But, based on her current situation, the talk about her kids’ and how she’s feeling, I definitely do see how she’s getting involved—I’m just not used to seeing it. However, for now, I’m going to try to forget about my perfect Yo getting into an altercation (even though I should probably be happy she’s standing up for herself) and focus on Eileen’s leopard wrap dress, and that super fab under $100 Style Stealer I found that I like even better than the original. It’s a much more calming thought.

Beth, I also have been wondering about this tank (that is actually a dress with cut outs and a yellow space-dyed skirt attached) since I saw it as well. And it’s been haunting me during opening credits every week! But do you know why it’s been eluding us? Because that gold “chain” looks to actually be embroidered snake print. And while it’s been tricking me and making me think Moschino, I’ve finally found it in stock, in a very limited quantity. And since my baby bump might stretch out those cut outs, I might just have to let you have the one in my size…

We’ve pretty much seen this bag style since the early seasons of the Real Housewives on many, many of the women. It’s like the Tom Ford sunglass of Housewives handbags. And while fashion trends com and go, this body style has stayed true while just changing styling details with the trends (ie the season’s best colors, fringe, embellishments). As someone who loves a little chain, I can say that I can see why the style stays true, especially because it steers clear of harming animals in the making opening it to a broader consumer. While I was glad to see Kim Richards’ looking so good and getting along with Kyle on last night’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, I really hope it’s the last time we see her on the show. And it’s not because I don’t like her. I think being on Reality TV is a horrible position to be in for an addict and totally is not something that helps with sobriety and recovery. And when she said herself things are great with her and Kyle, when other people aren’t involved, I think that applies ten fold to the Real Housewives. Being at a dinner on RHOBH is normally enough to make anyone over-drink (or at least throw a drink), so I just think it’s a totally bad place to be in. So here’s to Kim continuing to get better, and continuing to wear fab, easy, breezy, linen embellished tank top…In private.
