Here’s my take on what each of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills might opt for to celebrate V-Day 2016, and what you should wear on heart day, or the next time you’re ready for a night out.
If You’re a Kyle Richards:
You love a boho Valentines Day look and so does your match, Kyle. You know you look great in the color red and definitely won’t miss out on the opportunity to rock it. Dress up in lace, a maxi dress, or even a romper and ditch the Valentine—You’re look will be the love of your life.
You normally opt for a form fitting dress with tasteful cut outs, mesh or texture that shows off that body you work so hard for and leaves everyone wanting to be yours. You’re fashion-tine Lisa will often be spotted in faves, Elizabeth & James or Stella McCartney, but will definitely depart for a look that fits her style.
A great pencil dress with some extra detail—an asymmetric hemline, halter neckline or some dotted mesh trim—is totally your cup of V-Day tea. Celebrating in a resort location? A floral maxi dress, like the one Eileen rocked in the Hamptons, is the perfect look for you.
You’re closet it already busting at the beams with pink and purple Valentines Day appropriate dresses, but it wouldn’t be a special occasion if you didn’t grab another one. You’re style is totally inspired by London fashion and you prefer a form fitting, sophiticated, pencil dress with clean lines and just the right amount of embellishment to be tasteful, not gaudy. No bling on your dress? Add a chunky or long layered necklace to complete the look….or just carry your pet swan.
You’re all about a sexy dress, but unless you’re playing your alter-ego, you know there’s a line between sexy and trashy. And you know you’re sexy enough to cover up, if the pieces are worthy (ie a fab fur jacket). If you’re showing leg, you wear a shift dress with a high neck to cover your chest. Showing some cleave? Those legs are covered in something longer than a mini. But even with a little fabic there’s a big price tag on Erica’s actual pieces (think of sorting by “Price High to Low” and shopping at the top at Net-A-Porter), so some of these ideas might leave you Erikas-in-Training a bit leftover to buy something for your Valentine—not that the gift of being seen by your side isn’t enought.

I must say, I’m a tad bit over the traditional bandage dress. But I also must say, that if I was going to opt for one, I think an Erika Jayne performance might be the right place to wear such a dress. However, if Kyle decides she wants to get wild and do her signature splits, lets hope she thinks twice and leaves that to Erika Jayne who’s wardrobe choice seems far more conducive to gymnastics.

In my opinion, Lisa Rinna’s wardrobe is super on point during the latest RHOBH episode. A great maxi dress and jumpsuit—both of which she rocked— are two of the easiest ways to make a statement without having to do much work. Put on the piece and all that is left to do is pick out accessories and there’s nothing else to worry about. Well, unless you live in Beverly Hills and didn’t pick out a matching bag or shoes with a price tag involving at least 3 zeros on it.

However, as someone who HATES being cold, I find myself totally questioning how she could subject herself to the freezing temps in that chamber! I was freezing just watching her! But then again, I guess I’ve made dumber decisions based on things I’ve seen the ‘wives doing, so I might just have to take a dip in that chamber. Or, maybe I’ll just start with the Chicago version, which we call just going outside.

The way people take petty criticism says a lot about them, and I think we learned a lot about Eileen Davidson on last night’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Last night, Kathryn, the newest BH cast members decided to mean-girl her on the price of her bag and shoes (twice), and Eileen didn’t make excuses or act embarrassed. In fact, in not so many words, she let everyone know it’s her making the bag not the bag price-tag making her and I love that. And just to add to that silliness, Eileen happens to be being criticized while riding in a stretch SUV limo wearing a $340 denim jumpsuit…Maybe Kathryn needs to start checking her price tags on BBH before saying too much.
